New York City didn’t receive the 1st Municipal Charter of Self-Government until not 1625 (More of the erroneous work of past and present NYC politicians).

Roland Rogers is a citizen, not a politician. He is a citizen running for political office, not a politician running for political gain. Politicians engage in politics, which is the fight for power. You can be a politician without being in office just as you can be in office without being a politician. Roland’s opponents (Bloomberg, Thompson and Wiener) are politicians. The politicians have the keys to the car and drove it into a proverbial ditch. Why would you trust someone who is on a smooth road and drives a car into a ditch, and who has the resources to drive that car out of the ditch? That is silly. On a clear day and driving on an expansive roadway, Bloomberg, some members of the city council and other elected officials drove that car into a ditch. That simply means they cannot drive. So why give the keys to someone who can’t drive? They did not have enough skill to drive the car out of the ditch. They are D.W.A.—Driving While Ambitious.
